Request an appointment with Dr. LuskDr. Della S. Lusk brings more than a quarter-century of professional experience to her work as a licensed psychologist and clinical director. Her practice is built for people who want care that is both compassionate and purposeful, care that makes room for the whole story while building practical steps forward.
She works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Sessions may focus on an immediate concern, a long-standing pattern, a difficulty in a relationship, a transition, or a personal goal that has been waiting.
Dr. Lusk sees clients in English and Spanish, intake and evaluation feedback included, so that the work can be done in the language you think in.
Dr. Lusk works primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based and scientifically validated approach, and adapts it to the person in front of her. Therapy here is not a formula; sessions are shaped around your concerns, strengths, relationships, responsibilities, and your own definition of progress.
Build insight, strengthen coping, and work through anxiety, mood concerns, stressful transitions, and the other things that get in the way.
Make room for clearer communication, healthier patterns, and more constructive ways to handle conflict and change.
Comprehensive evaluations for forensic, educational, executive employment, neuropsychological, and specialized diagnostic purposes.
Dr. Lusk has been licensed to practise psychology in Arizona since 1997, and holds her own licence in three jurisdictions. Each of these boards publishes its licensee records, so you can confirm any of it yourself rather than taking our word for it.
| Jurisdiction | Licence no. | Issuing board |
|---|---|---|
| Arizona | PSY-003232 | Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners |
| Delaware | B1-0011415 | Delaware Board of Examiners of Psychologists |
| Hawaii | PSY-2093 | Hawaii Board of Psychology |
Her National Provider Identifier is 1295925386, listed in the federal NPPES registry. That record also carries her provider taxonomies:
Care outside those three jurisdictions rests on the credentials below rather than on a separate licence in every state. All three carry the same number.
| Credential | No. | Issued by |
|---|---|---|
| Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT™) | 5130 | PSYPACT® Commission |
| Temporary Authorization to Practice (TAP) | 5130 | PSYPACT® Commission |
| ASPPB Interjurisdictional Practice Certificate (E.Passport®) | 5130 | Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB) |
The PSYPACT® Commission publishes the list of participating jurisdictions, and that list changes as states join; the board directory names the psychology regulator for each one. Authorization depends on the state you are physically in at the time of each appointment, which is why the office asks before you travel or move.
Arizona has qualified Dr. Lusk as an expert witness, and her work includes psychological assessment alongside psychotherapy. Evaluations are approached with attention to the purpose of the assessment and to what the individual, family, school, organization, or court actually needs from it.
Dr. Lusk completed a dual major in Spanish Literature and Psychology at Smith College, then doctoral training in clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology–San Diego, an APA-accredited program.
Her own liberal arts background carries into the work. The practice has specific experience with students, faculty and staff of liberal arts colleges, among them Smith College, Pomona College, and Sarah Lawrence College, and with Yale-NUS College alumni now living in the United States. Where any of them sits in a participating jurisdiction, the usual telepsychology rules apply.
Full biographies for every clinician are on our providers page. You are welcome to ask her directly about her qualifications and experience.
Arizona care is hybrid: in person at the Flagstaff office, virtual, or a combination of the two, whichever suits the work. Everywhere else, including Delaware and Hawaii, appointments are by secure video.
That reach matters most to the people who move: students, professionals who travel, military families, and anyone who would otherwise have to start over with a new clinician because of a change of address. Telepsychology availability still depends on where you are located and what authorization applies at the time of the appointment.
Whatever brought you here, what you hope will change, the history that bears on it, and whether Dr. Lusk’s approach fits what you need. Nothing is decided in that hour that you do not decide.
Her licence numbers and the issuing boards are listed above, and each board publishes a licensee lookup. For telepsychology states, the PSYPACT® Commission publishes the list of participating jurisdictions.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, and we gladly accept HSA, FSA, and HRA cards so you can use pre-tax dollars toward your care. Our practice generally operates out-of-network. This allows us to protect your privacy, keep care highly personalized, and avoid insurance-mandated session limits.
If you have out-of-network benefits, we will submit claims to your insurance company as a courtesy upon your request. Because plans differ, we confirm current fees and what your own coverage allows before your first appointment. Call (844) 774-7997 or email info@psychotherapy.com and we will walk you through it.
Our services are by appointment only, during normal business hours. Evening, weekend, and early morning appointments are sometimes available for established clients.
We do not offer crisis, walk-in, or inpatient services of any type, and this page is not a substitute for emergency care.
This page provides general information about telehealth psychotherapy and psychological services. It is not medical or psychological advice, does not create a clinician–client relationship, and does not diagnose or treat any condition. Whether a particular service is appropriate for you is determined with a clinician during a confidential consultation. Telehealth authorization depends on your physical location at the time of each appointment; participating jurisdictions are published at psypact.gov and, for counseling, at CompactConnect.
