Court-Ordered Therapy and Forensic Evaluations
When a court, a licensing board, or a school asks for an evaluation or for therapy, the work has to be careful, well documented, and done by someone the system trusts.
Dr. Della S. Lusk is a court-approved evaluator for Coconino, Maricopa, and Navajo Counties and is qualified as an expert witness in the State of Arizona. We provide the services below to individuals, families, and the professionals who refer them.
Court-Ordered Therapy
Individual, couples, or family therapy that has been court-ordered, court-mandated, or recommended by a judge, provided with the same care and confidentiality we offer every client. Our court-ordered domestic violence counseling was featured in the Arizona Daily Sun (more on our News & Blog page).
Qualified Expert Witness
Dr. Lusk is qualified by the State of Arizona as an expert witness in psychological matters.
Parent Coordination and Reunification Therapy
Dr. Lusk provides parent coordination services for the Coconino County Integrated Family Court, helping separated parents carry out their parenting plans with less conflict. Our office also provides reunification therapy, which helps a child and parent rebuild their relationship.
Rollercoasters Program
Recommended by the Integrated Family Court of the Coconino County Superior Court, this program helps children of divorced parents cope with the changes in their families. Our therapists are trained and experienced in facilitating this dynamic and engaging program.
New Beginnings Program
In 2013, Arizona Behavioral Health Associates was selected as the Coconino County provider of New Beginnings, a program for divorcing parents developed through research at Arizona State University. The program helps parents protect their children from the stress of separation by strengthening the one resource children rely on most: their parents. Psychological Evaluations
Dr. Lusk provides private, comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for individuals, including evaluations for the courts she is approved in. Arizona State Board of Nursing Evaluations
Neuropsychological, psychological, mental health, and substance abuse evaluations, as recommended by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners Evaluations
Mental health and substance abuse evaluations, as recommended by the AZBBHE.
Substance Abuse Evaluations
Private, court-mandated, and court-recommended substance abuse evaluations.
Psychoeducational Evaluations
Private and school-contracted evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services and the least restrictive environment for students, under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We also offer advocacy for students, parents, and guardians facing difficulties in school.
